Blue Jay and Broke Hat
Happy March! It is so nice the days are getting longer. I am starting to dream about Gardening!! This Month I have been working on my rug hooking and am now almost done!! Blue Jay Wing & Tail I just have to do the rest of the sky and then mount it. I have also designed a hat for the Beginner Class I am teaching. It is available on Ravelry for free. It is called Broke Hat because it is knit in a Broken Rib Pattern. I knit it with yarn I had picked up in Petosky, Michigan a couple of years ago. I did a scarf in the same pattern (I will be publishing that pattern for free too!). Since I only had one 113gr skein of each colour I decided to make a little stripe design in mine while I was changing colours.
